Ebadur is a California-Paris based writer, filmmaker, curator and theorist. He has lived in various monastic settings in India, Japan, Thailand and USA. He trained with Bernie Glassman, Sasaki Roshi and Nobel prize nominee Sulak Sivaraksa. Ebadur was introduced to his mentor Jonas Mekas by Allen Ginsberg. His directorial debut, 'Atrocity Exhibition' premiered at the Festival de Cannes' Court Métrage, and the Buenos Aires Museum of Modern Art screened his second short film, 'The Citizens of the Wombs'. Ebadur had been the founding artistic director and chief curator of Samdani Art Foundation. He has been a senior artist-researcher at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and is a Ph.D candidate at University of California.
