Day 1 | UNHINGED MUMBAI:
LECTURES, WORKSHOPS AND URBAN SPECULATION
Date: 10 Jan, 2026 | Time: 11:00 | Little Theatre
Unhinged Mumbai, conceptualised by Aastha D., reads the city as a restless transcript, edited by monsoons, festivals, labour, protest, infrastructure and desire. Across lectures and a public workshop, the programme places Bernard Tschumi’s Manhattan Transcripts in tension with Mumbai’s lived realities, inviting participants to rewrite the city through collage, images, stories, and speculation. Speakers and critics include Aric Chen, Ratan Batliboi, Arjun Malik, Sarover Zaidi, urbz, and Shaina Anand and Ashok Sukumaran (CAMP). The programme moves between theory and making, asking how cities are authored, contested and continuously remade. Limited seats for the workshop. Entry by registration, only for festival pass holders.
