Matters End, Metaform’s latest release, is a graphic novel adaptation of the celebrated short story by astrophysicist and science-fiction writer Dr.Gregory Benford. Set in the early 1990s, the narrative draws from the extraordinary experiments conducted deep underground at the Kolar Gold Fields (KGF)—one of India’s earliest science corridors linking KGF and Bengaluru.Led by Naresh Narasimhan, the session features a reading from the book, its significance today and a behind-the-scenes look into its making, exploring how rigorous science, memory, and speculative imagination came together in graphic form. Matters End is edited by Naresh Narasimhan and adapted by Sunando C.
