Mumbai is not shaped by architecture or cinema alone. It is continuously architected by those who imagine its stories, perform its contradictions, build its institutions, and sustain its cultural and civic life. This session brings together voices from cinema, architecture, cultural patronage, industry and enterprise.
Spanning disciplines and generations, the session considers Mumbai as a collective construction: formed not only through buildings and infrastructure, but through images, ideas, design, capital, and long-term stewardship. As the opening talk of the festival, this ~multilog(ue) People Who Architect the Legend of Mumbai frames Mumbai as protagonist, archive, and unfinished project.
