Unscripted

Abin Design Studio

Unscripted explores architecture as an open script—shaped by space, movement and event—tracing Mumbai’s layered realities as a 21st-century metropolis. Conceived as part of Mumbai Transcripts, the pavilion reflects a city of simultaneities: coherent yet chaotic, dense yet porous, structured yet improvised. What appears as order from afar dissolves into fractures, diagonals and voids upon entry, inviting visitors to navigate compression and release, pause and collision. Architecture here is not a fixed object but a civic stage, animated by inhabitation and chance encounter.
