Established by Namita and Arun Saraf in 2016 to celebrate the Himalayas’ cultural legacy, the Saraf Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to preserving intangible culture and built heritage across the region. Bridging disciplines and regions, it fosters critical dialogues through restoration projects, cultural spaces and educational initiatives. Its efforts span architecture, art, design and science, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration.

The foundation is grounded on a cohesive approach anchored in the past, interrupting the present and with conscious attention to the making of futures.
