Jeroen is editor-in-chief of the on- and offline platform Designdigger.nl. He is also a freelance journalist, curator and researcher in design and architecture, and regular contributor to the Volkskrant, the largest broadsheet newspaper in the Netherlands. His most recent book is Do It Ourselves. A New Mentality in Dutch Design, on the post-crisis generation of designers. Jeroen has curated several exhibitions, including Slow Tech, about the fusion of craft with high-tech production with 3D printers and robots. His most recent exhibition was Luxe? at design museum Cube, which explores new forms of luxury, such as privacy, time and nature. He also taught at institutions such as the Rietveld Academy, the Sandberg Institute and the Design Academy Eindhoven. Jeroen holds a master degree in Contemporary History at Leiden University.
