Kriti Dhingra

Kriti is an evolving practitioner working in adobe architecture in the Kangra region of Himachal Pradesh, India. She has done her Masters in Theory and Design from CEPT University, Ahmedabad with her thesis focusing on Late Didi Contractor's architectural works. Her professional journey gave her opportunities to work on diverse projects ranging from heritage documentation works with INTACH to large-scale urban redevelopment projects with Pradeep Sachdeva Design Associates, Delhi. She has also been involved in academics with institutions like NIFT, Kangra, and NIT, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh. Her initiative "Sanshraya Design Studio" aims for the Union of old and new. It is an attempt to connect various thoughts, traditional practices, community, and context with the needs of the contemporary lifestyle through architecture.
