Yuki is a London-based Japanese architecture and design critic, writer and curator. As a journalist, she has been contributing to various magazines, journals and newspapers internationally for over 20 years. She is a co-author of a major book on contemporary Japanese architecture, New Architecture in Japan, published by Merrell Publishers in 2010. Yuki has an MA in History and Theory of Architecture from UCL Bartlett, two BAs - one in Fine Art from Central St Martins and another in Asian Studies from University of California Santa Barbara. In more recent years, Yuki’s focus has shifted to exploring cross-cultural and inter-disciplinary collaborations, the idea of commons, technological innovations, sustainability and deep ecology.
