FAB 2024, South Asia's premier gathering for changemakers and visionaries in Architecture, Building & Design, is set to open in Mumbai on March 27th, 2024 with yet another clarion call for disruptive thinking in design. Anchored to the theme ‘L.I.F.E - Looking Inward For the Environment’, this upcoming edition of the conclave promises to delve deep into the symbiotic relationship between personal transformation and the creation of a sustainable future for our built environment.FAB is renowned for its role as a catalyst for innovation, experimentation, and evolution by bringing together disruptors from various fields to deconstruct the world we live in order to construct the one we desire. Starting from its flagship conference 3 years ago, FAB transcends boundaries with ground-breaking exhibits, insightful webinars, collaborative studios, and showcases from visionary institutions.
The theme for the 2024 conclave was inspired by a profound dialogue between the acclaimed architect B.V. Doshi and Sarita Vijayan, the Founder of FAB. His words, “Give life a chance." is a compelling invitation to pause and look inward for answers to the fundamental question, "How can we bequeath a better world for the future?”, stated Sarita while speaking about the intent of the 2024 conclave.
Against the backdrop of pressing environmental challenges, the conclave is set to provide a crucial space for deep introspection and transformative change. Its expansive agenda explores philosophy, design innovation, materials, technology, culture, environment, inclusivity, and more.
