A pioneering force in the field of architecture, design and marketing, the inaugural Metaverse Architecture Biennale (MAB), "Presence of the Future" 2023 will take place on September 21-24, bringing together top creators worldwide to manifest the significance of architecture and design in reshaping web3 and the Metaverse as a powerful platform for business and creativity. MAB will be open to everyone for free and requires only a computer with internet access.

Inspired by the Venice Biennale and Expo, the Metaverse Architecture Biennale showcases virtual pavilions and worlds created by architects standing in the avant-garde of digital design with such names as Killa Design, LAVA, PLP, ATRIUM, SoomeenHahm Design, Spaces DAO, DA!, Il Prisma, [sintez], SA lab, iheartblob, OBMI, Mariana Cabugueira Studios and ILLUSORR.

The Metaverse Architecture Biennale covers two distinct platforms: Decentraland and W3rlds – every participating architect is creating one installation for each metaverse platform, which means that there would be over sixty spaces in total. Attendees will have the opportunity to teleport between these two worlds, exploring virtual pavilions, engaging in interactive exhibits, and connecting with a global community of creators. Decentraland provides a big plaza for the Biennale, resembling an expo site, where architects' pavilions would be showcased among partner pavilions and several public spaces with installations, lecture halls, and party venues.
The First Metaverse Architecture Biennale will serve as a platform for showcasing the innovative potential of the Metaverse and exploring its impact on various industries. During 4 days, participants will have the opportunity to engage with virtual pavilions created by top designers, attend captivating talks and performances, and discover advanced solutions for businesses in the Metaverse.

The true essence of the Biennale lies in its public program, scheduled from September 21st to 24th. It will feature cultural and entertainment events, including opening and closing ceremonies, lectures and public talks, Architecture Carnival, and other events. The lecture program promises a one-of-a-kind lineup of design and Web 3 industry leaders, architects, and innovators

The event features renowned architectural firms, industry leaders, and visionary creators who are at the forefront of this digital revolution. An open call for virtual creators has already launched to choose global talents and showcase their projects at the Biennale among the big names.

With over 50,000 expected visitors, 10 major companies, and an open call for awards, this event presents a unique chance to contribute to Web3 technologies and gain exposure to a global audience.

Open call for architect's announcement:
By hosting an open call for architects, the first Metaverse Architecture Biennale (MAB) aims to encourage global talents to contribute their visionary designs to this growing industry, regardless of previous Metaverse design experience. The open call is free to enter for individuals, groups and studios and requires only advanced 3D-modelling skills.
The open call is organised in two stages, challenging creators to submit their concept and visualisation aligned with the biennale's theme, "Presence of the Future." The best projects finalized on the second stage of the open call for the platform's requirements will be exhibited among projects designed by the leading studios in the industry of digital architecture.
