In 2022, the Shoreditch Design Triangle returns for its fourteenth consecutive year with a hearty program of design-led happenings that are representative of the vibrant creative scene that flourishes in the area.

Shoreditch is a modern, mixed-use, inner-city environment, where residents, creative industries, the arts, retailers, restaurateurs, partygoers, and international visitors all join in. It’s a place that celebrates contrast, embraces new ideas and welcomes the individual.

In one of the London Design Festival’s largest and most invigorating districts, visitors can expect a blend of both radical and formal ideas, in the guise of product launches, exhibitions, installations, workshops, talks, tours and some convivial after-hours delights. With both established brands and newcomers present in the area, it’s the ideal place to take in the full spectrum of London’s design scene.

Highlights:

Buster + Punch opening the doors (for the first time) to their new London flagship store on 47 Charlotte Road, Shoreditch, a stone’s throw from the garage where the brand began.

Vitra celebrate the launch of their new UK flagship showroom at Tramshed, which will open on 21 September 2022. Featuring an installation celebrating Vitra’s ongoing collaboration with the family of Jean Prouvé.

AIDA hosts several events merging design and fashion to celebrate their 10th anniversary.

‘Making Faces’ by A New Tribe surrounds us with playful abstract faces at home a multi-disciplinary collection of rugs and ceramics.

Jasper Morrison Shop displays exhibition to see at close quarters some of the rare and characterful pieces not seen in public for over thirty years.

Sophie Smallhorn creates a new series of ‘100 Prints' illustrating Smallhorn’s innovative and dynamic use of colour, form and proportion.

SCP 2022 Collection by Ilse Crawford & Oscar Peña, Matthew Hilton, Philippe Malouin, and One Tree, a project led by SCP and timber expert Sebastian Cox, which repurposes a dying ash tree.
