To feed the poor, daily wagers, migrant labourers

Smile Foundation is a national development organization which was started in 2002 and is headquartered in Delhi. It currently benefits over 7,50,000 children and their families annually, through over 350 projects on education, healthcare, skilling and women empowerment across 25 states of India. Smile Foundation launched ‘India Shares’ initiative with the aim to combat hunger among people who are most vulnerable in the times of Covid 19. Through their dry ration distribution program, Smile Foundation has served approx. 5.4 million meals to over 60,000 children and their families till April 2020. To provide PPE to frontline COVID-19 warriors

To feed and rescue stray animals

An NGO dedicated to the rescue, care and rehabilitation of animals with the aim of reducing animal suffering, RESQ has helped over 70,000+ animals since its establishment in 2007. Their RESQ Centre and team provide relief and aid to all kinds of animals, domestic and wildlife. The RESQ team has been working through the lockdown every single day by rescuing animals, and has distributed over 33,000 kgs of food to animals who needed it the most.

The We Exist Foundation (WEF) is a registered Not–For–Profit organization, which aims to improve the living conditions of the street and abandoned dog community in India through it’s various Initiatives and Programs. With a key focus on sterilization, vaccination, adoptions and providing SOS medical care to injured street dogs, WEF is a 100% volunteer - run organization. The setting-up of WEF was at one point of time an unattainable dream for it’s founder Tejshree Savara. However, with perseverance, commitment and a lot of courage, this dream has seen the light of the day and now, success with the support of and from all. The Foundation, through its efforts, hopes to inspire individuals to be a part of a positive change by giving back to the disadvantaged and abandoned animal community in India.

Friendicoes is an animal shelter under the Defence Colony flyover, New Delhi and boasts of an Out Patient’s Department, an in-house clinic for the strays that accommodates about 150-200 animals at any point of time, two operation theaters, a Lab & X-ray unit as well as a sanctuary in Gurgaon that houses about a thousand animals. There is also round the clock ambulance service for the strays as well as an emergency night clinic for pets.
