The Norman Foster Foundation is awarding ten scholarships for students to take part in the second edition of the Energy Workshop, to be held at the Norman Foster Foundation headquarters in Madrid, Spain. Energy problems are multidisciplinary in nature, spanning science, engineering, design and the social sciences. How do you think that your field might better contribute to the challenges of climate change and the built environment?

The Energy Workshop will take place from 20- 24 February 2023 in at the Norman Foster Foundation headquarters in Madrid, Spain. The workshop will bring together international experts and students to explore sustainable solutions for overarching topics such as climate change, the use of energy and resources and their local and global implications. The NFF will award ten scholarships to students from diverse backgrounds in architecture, urbanism, design, arts and humanities, social sciences, engineering and environmental studies. Grants will cover all transportation and accommodation related to the week-long event in Madrid, Spain. Scholars will engage with an interdisciplinary Academic Body formed by mentors ranging from industry professionals to academics.
