Atelier Ecru x Objects With Narratives a collaborative group show, with works by: Anima Ona, Charlotte Jonckheer, Comte/Meuwly, Freia Achenbach, Laurids Gallée, studio Narra, studio Nienke Hoogvliet, Pierre De Valck, Raphael Kadid, Roxane Lahidji, studio Vlora, Supertoys Supertoys. OWN offers a global platform that actively empowers bold creators in terms of design, marketing, finance and logistics. The goal is not just to be another label, but rather a creative space where designers can be storytellers but to provoke consumers to look beyond a design label and to build an affinity with these story-driven pieces that relate to a wide variety of audiences.
Object with Narratives is curated by brothers Nik & Robbe Vandewyngaerde based in Basel, Mendrisio & Brussels. Nik Vandewyngaerde is an engineer & architect that grew up in Belgium, but moved in 2017 to Switzerland to work for the architecture firm ‘Herzog & de Meuron’. Robbe Vandewyngaerde is an architect & designer that has worked for ‘OMA Rotterdam’ and recently moved to Switzerland to finish his architecture master programme at the ‘Accademia di architecttura di Mendrisio’.
