Exhibition Details

Hanne Heuch and Nina Malterud were educated in ceramics in the 1970s and have been practitioners for nearly 50 years. They both explore the maximum potential of the materials, pursuing surprising effects from the processes. Heuch works with cast porcelain and glazes, firing at Norsk Teknisk Porselensfabrikk (NTP Products) in Fredrikstad. In this exhibition, she presents a series of oval bowls. Malterud works with earthenware and glazes fired at lower temperatures in her own kiln, and will present flat wall-mounted items in various formats. The artists will be showing individual projects within a cohesive exhibition design.
