Exhibition Details

Galerie Philia is bringing together in Seoul the works of designers Kar and Jerome Pereira, along with the artist Akio Igarashi. The exhibition aims to question the idea of the surface and cavity. Whether the inside or the outside is more important than the other, or if the outside is only an artifice while the cavity holds a depth. While the physical attributes of the works allow this mental juxtaposition, the broader idea of the curation points out the border we usually draw between sculptural design and fine arts and invites us to look from a wider perspective.
