Ad Libitum, a project by Mariane Ibrahim with Gallery FUMI, features artists and designers' work exploring the themes of improvisation and materiality. The exhibition connects the works of Nigerian painter Peter Uka, Mexico City-based photographer Darryl Richardson and design works by London-based design gallery Gallery FUMI.
'Ad Libitum,' meaning both 'at one’s pleasure' and a musical call to improvisation, serves as a metaphor for the convergence of artists, designers, and friends of the gallery. The presentation unveils a celebration of friendship, collective spirit, craftsmanship and cultural multiplicity.
Designers and artists: Peter Uka, Darryl Richardson, Jeremy Anderson, Saelia Aparicio, JAMESPLUMB, Max Lamb, Sam Orlando Miller, Eelko Moorer, Johannes Nagel, Shinta Nakajima, Kustaa Saksi, Lukas Wegwerth.
