Kristina Dam Studio designs the interiors for Anne-mi, a Danish, family-owned fashion label just outside Aarhus, Denmark, rooted in timeless design and natural materials. Named after founder Kristina Dam’s grandmother, Anne-Mi, the brand carries forward a deeply personal heritage. Her grandmother’s way of dressing—soft layers, subtle detailing and garments made to last—continues to shape Anne-mi’s aesthetic language. “At its core, Anne-mi is about creating clothing that feels familiar and comforting; pieces that allow you to feel at ease, both within yourself and in your surroundings,” Kristina Dam Studio notes in the project’s description.
The Anne-mi showroom, nestled on the grounds of a 16th-century castle in the Danish countryside, functions as a workspace, photo studio and meeting place, a setting that has evolved gradually, without haste or temporary solutions. Each element has been selected with purpose, supporting both creative immersion and meaningful encounters with clients and collaborators.
The interior design of the brand's space, created with simple, purposeful product designs from the Copenhagen-based design studio, blends seamlessly with the overall vision. Known for its sculptural minimalism and architectural clarity, the studio has shaped a space that feels cohesive and calm. Rather than competing for attention, the contemporary design of the space recedes into the background, allowing the creative work to take centre stage.
“With simple, purposeful designs from Kristina Dam Studio, the interior blends seamlessly into the whole, creating a space often described as a pause—a place for concentration and for taking a breath,” the studio states.
