Galerie kreo at PAD London 2025 maps how the language of objects endures, transforms

At PAD London 2025, Paris-based Galerie kreo stages a curated, ambitious presentation—'a dialogue between contemporary and historical design'. The gallery's booth at the design event taking place from October 14 – 19, 2025, gathers leading names in today's global design scene, alongside mapping out a lineage of material, form and light that links past and present.

This edition brings together works by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby; Guillaume Bardet; François Bauchet; Ronan Bouroullec; Marco Campardo; Pierre Charpin; Doshi Levien; Konstantin Grcic; Jaime Hayon and Hella Jongerius. These are presented alongside vintage masterpieces by Franco Albini & Franca Helg; Gianfranco Frattini; Marc Newson; Ernest Race; Gino Sarfatti as well as Vittorio Zecchin. Highlights include a unique table by Newson (2013); an extraordinary glass chandelier by Zecchin (1932) and a rare floor lamp design by Sarfatti from 1951, each resurrected with care and placed in dialogue with contemporary design counterparts.

Among the contemporary, Bardet's bronze works stand out—known for his sculptural designs, weight and refined detail, he recently redesigned the liturgical objects for Notre-Dame de Paris. His contributions at PAD London this year resonate with his ongoing exploration of bronze across functional and ritual forms. Furniture designer Bouroullec adds contrast with thick red glass pieces, which push the boundaries of transparency, colour and volume.

Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby contribute pieces from their Signals and Hakone lines, where industrial precision and experimentation with material (from metal to mirrored surfaces) are clearly present. Other voices include Charpin, whose sculptural fluidity plays with form and tactility; Doshi Levien with textile-inflected surfaces; Campardo's coffee table, Azo-X Large side table by Bauchet and Jongerius' experiments with colour, texture and craft continue to surprise.

Together, these furniture designs trace a subtle but powerful arc: from the modernist and artisanal vigour of designers such as Albini, Frattini, Sarfatti and Zecchin, through to the conceptual rigour and material experimentation of today's leading designers. Galerie kreo's presentation at PAD London 2025 is a bridge across time, celebrating design's capacity both to preserve history and to reinvent it.
