The project was born after a visit to the castle of Shloss Hollenegg in the Austrian countryside of Gratz in Austria from the meeting between curator Alice Stori Liechtenstein and designer Sara Ricciardi called to interpret the castle by reworking the meaning icato of the word Inheritance. The legacy cannot be chosen but only interpreted and managed. The cumbersome weight of an inherited heritage materializes in a big one in Milan's symbolic sphere that between velvets and trimmings, pushed by the winds, wants just to play with the visitor. The wallpaper from the late 1600s that covers the room of the castle in which Sara has slept the first night turns into a living presence Thus Arcadia is no longer a mythical land, far away from where man is at peace in the well-being of the nature but it is the present in which each of us is and with which we can relate with awareness and irony. We must learn to play with what has been left to us. This is an installation that anticipates the 'Legacy' exhibition to be held at Schloss castle Hollenegg throughout the month of May.
