The Silver Cabin is a conceptual project by Sabina Blasiotti.

"I remember when I first saw the Silver Cabin rising from Prebersee Lake, it was during the Supergau festival in May 2023, the sun was up to cure my skin. How to describe what I saw, it was a vision that lasted only a few seconds: that day, the cabin was wrapped by the water, or perhaps by the sky, or perhaps by both, it’s hard to remember. The construction stood for the history of Lungau, the silver skin celebrated the past prosperity brought by silver mining while the cabin design celebrated the present wealth carried by tourism.

It was a place of encounter, of reflection, Lungau’s mountains were engraved in the skin of the pavilion, blending with the mirrored image of the lake, it was earth, water and air. How to describe what I saw, is a vision that lasts a lifetime: Today, the cabin is wrapped by the water, or perhaps by the sky, or perhaps by both, it’s hard to tell."- Sabina Blasiotti
