Florence Derieux

Florence is an art historian and curator with over 25 years of experience in the contemporary art world. She worked for public as well as private organizations, mainly in the US, France and Switzerland, holding the following positions: Director of Exhibitions, Hauser & Wirth, New York; Curator of American Art, Centre Pompidou Foundation & Curator-at-Large, Centre Pompidou, New York; Director, FRAC Champagne-Ardenne, Reims; Curator, Art Basel Parcours, Art Basel, Basel; Curator-at-Large, Le Magasin, Grenoble; Curator for Contemporary Art, Museum of Fine Arts, Lausanne; Deputy Director, Picasso Museum, Antibes; Curator, Palais de Tokyo, Paris. In 2019, she launched Florence Derieux Agency, an independent curatorial consultancy.
