Niyati is a writer and curator. Her past projects include Does the Blue Sky Lie? Testimonies of Air’s Toxicities at Khoj International Artists Association, No Elsewhere as a part of Young Curator’s Academy 2021, Berlin, along with other projects that use art and creative pedagogies and interventions to delve into ecology and the climate crisis for Thyssen-Bornemisza Contemporary and Khoj. She studied Art History and Museum Studies at Smith College, USA. In the past, she has worked at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, as an archaeological fellow at the Ancient Agora of Athens, and as a researcher at the Smithsonian Centre for Folklife and Cultural Heritage.
