The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) on Thursday (July 11, 2019) opened entries for the third edition of the RIBA International Awards, the prestigious awards for architecture outside of the UK.

The RIBA International Awards celebrate buildings that exemplify design innovation, embrace sustainable technologies and deliver meaningful social impact.

RIBA INTERNATIONAL AWARDS
– RIBA International Awards for Excellence are given to 20 buildings worldwide that stretch the boundaries of architecture and standards of excellence.
– The RIBA International Prize is awarded to the building considered the most outstanding.
– The RIBA International Emerging Architect Prize recognises the talent of individuals who have been practicing for up to 10 years and are making a significant contribution to the field of architecture. The prize is awarded to the future pioneers and luminaries of the profession.

RIBA Members get a substantial 25 per cent discount on entry fees as well as a host of other membership benefits.

WHO CAN ENTER
These awards set a new global standard for architecture and are open to any qualified architect or architectural practice. Our fully inclusive awards celebrate emerging architects, small projects with limited budgets as well as larger scale projects.

Jury

The jury for the RIBA International Awards 2020 is led by world-renowned multidisciplinary French architect and urban planner, Odile Decq.
