Lema announces its involvement in the prestigious Mandarin Oriental Residences Mayfair, a landmark development that sets a new benchmark for luxury living in the UK's capital. Situated on the corner of Hanover Square, one of London's oldest and most prestigious addresses, this limited collection of 80 luxury residences promises to redefine contemporary city living.

Developed by Clivedale London, with architecture by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners and interiors by celebrated New York designer Thomas Juul-Hansen, the project fuses bold modernist architecture with an understated, international sense of style. Mandarin Oriental Residences Mayfair blends the sophistication of a private home with the service and prestige of one of the world's most iconic hotel brands.

Within this exclusive setting, Lema was entrusted to deliver custom wardrobe systems, bespoke kitchens and specialist joinery, reinforcing its reputation for providing design-led, custom product design solutions to the highest standards.

Each of the 80 residential designs, ranging from studio apartments to expansive penthouses, has been fitted with Lema's custom-designed wardrobes, created to complement the warm, natural materials and serene palette of the overall interior scheme. Lema worked closely with the design team to ensure seamless integration into the broader aesthetic, delivering solutions in finishes such as natural oak veneers, matte lacquered panels, bronzed metal detailing and leather-lined drawers. The result is a refined and harmonious look that strikes a balance between luxury and livability.

The design concept behind Lema's contribution focused on quiet sophistication and functional elegance, favouring clean lines, concealed handles, modular flexibility and premium materials that reflect both Italian craftsmanship and international design sensibilities.

Lema's Contract Division, operating through its UK headquarters and flagship store at 183 King's Road in Chelsea, played a central role in executing this vision. The project saw Lema provide made-to-measure wardrobes and kitchens for all residences, combining the Italian brand's hallmark minimalist elegance with practicality and durability: qualities essential to high-end residential developments.
