At 3daysofdesign, which returns to Denmark’s capital from June 10 – 12, 2026, themed Make This Moment Matter, Kristina Dam Studio presents Echoes of Form, a showroom installation that invites us to slow down and notice the craftsmanship in every detail—“to sit with a stranger, to feel at home in the middle of an exhibition”, the Danish design studio notes in the project’s description. “Make This Moment Matter, interpreted not as a statement, but as a lived experience.”
The immersive installation transforms the brand’s Copenhagen space into a contemplative café, serving as a setting for their new Split series of café tables and stools, as well as the wooden Drift & Balance sculpture. “It is the purest expression of what we believe: that honest materials and refined proportions are not just aesthetic choices—they are an invitation to pay attention," the contemporary design studio notes. Together, the pieces will demonstrate the studio’s enduring commitment to sculptural minimalism.
“Minimalism, for me, has never been about emptiness. It is about creating the conditions for presence,” says the founder, Kristina Dam. The installation reflects this philosophy throughout the design exhibition.
The showcase’s café setting is conceived to dissolve the traditional boundaries between exhibition and everyday life. Visitors are invited to gather, eat, converse and linger, transforming the showroom into a shared space according to the studio. To create a fully immersive environment, the showroom is enveloped in linen curtains by Danish textile brand Anne-Mi, creating a soft sensory experience, while also serving seasonal food from Café Mirabelle. "Both brands share our commitment to craft and seasonality. It felt like a very natural extension of our own values—and together we could engage all the senses at once,” the studio shares.
“Kristina Dam Studio is known for a ‘sculptural minimalism’ that reveals itself gradually—bold lines at first glance, quiet precision up close. Echoes of Form is the fullest expression of that belief to date,” the studio mentions.
