Objects with Narratives showcased Vladimir Slavov's Time at PAD London 2025

Objects with Narratives presented contemporary artist and designer Vladimir Slavov's solo exhibition, Time, at PAD London 2025. Slavov's latest collection, showcased at the now-concluded design fair which took place from October 14 – 19, 2025, continues his exploration of materiality and transformation, weaving together what the gallery describes as "asperity and refinement, brilliance and sobriety, expertise and improvisation." 

Slavov quite literally plays with fire—drawing out shards of light and raw emotion—to reveal works that balance the delicacy of gesture with the intensity of creation. Each piece functions as both artifact and design object, bridging geology, craftsmanship and artistic reflection.

At the design exhibition in London, the collection featured sculptural knives, chandeliers and sconces, among other objects. The highlights of the showcase were the Bronze Bar Sculpture table and a set of Knifes—both capturing a visceral sense of time: preserved, transformed and reborn. "His works emerge from a dialogue between matter, texture and touch—where process and intuition shape each surface," notes Objects with Narratives in the show's official release.

Slavov's contemporary design practice evokes both refinement and raw power, allowing the elemental nature of his materials to speak through light and surface. He finds solace and inspiration within the confines of his atelier—a sanctuary of experimentation and creation.
