Italian brand Meridiani stands at the intersection of contemporary design and timeless sensibility. Rooted in Italian craftsmanship, the brand creates furniture that adapts to evolving lifestyles while maintaining a consistent focus on simplicity, quality and versatility. Every piece is designed to fit seamlessly into diverse interiors, reflecting a careful balance of form, function and aesthetic ease.
Unveiled in 2024, Italy-based Meridiani’s seatings with their organic soft bevels gracefully take up the viewer's attention, while becoming the centre of conversations. From modular seating systems to sculptural accents, the seatings explore subtle textures, clean lines and muted tones with bold contrasts, occasionally. The designs encourage a sense of individuality, offering furniture design pieces that integrate effortlessly into different spatial narratives without overpowering them. With a clear and practical approach to product design, Meridiani continues to expand its repertoire, delivering furniture that is as flexible as it is enduring.
Cosette by Italian designer Andrea Parisio is a chair with a slender silhouette and rounded volumes, with a soft seat that follows the shape and lines of the enveloping backrests. It can be entirely covered with fabrics and leathers from the Meridiani range or have lacquered or wood front legs, to become a lively and characterful product, capable of giving vivacity and, at the same time, refinement to the dining area.
Claudine, designed by Parisio as both a dining chair and an armchair, is a seat that can be used as a complementary piece of wooden furniture along with the Cosette chairs or as an independent element. Claudine has a compact backrest and a monolithic appearance, with a single front leg of generous proportions, which can be covered in fabric, wood or lacquered, for a result with an accent of character and an intense and refined visual appeal.
Jeanette is an armchair with soft sculptural shapes. The backrest, which develops through an enveloping cylinder until it also becomes an armrest, is the element that defines the distinctive feature of this product with a round, full design and great comfort. Its central leg, in fabric, lacquered or wood, is a further characterising element, which recalls the rounded shape of the rear body, resulting in a detail capable of making the difference in an armchair that lends itself to personalised combinations. The small size and solid structure make Jeanette the perfect seat even for limited spaces.
Gino is an original and curious pouf, belonging to the Cosette and Claudine chair family. Characterised by a round seat and three cylindrical legs, available not only in fabric or leather but also in wood or lacquered, Gino is practical and functional, a delicious complement for any corner of the house.
Meridiani's seating collection chair designs showcase the brand’s nuanced approach to design—small yet impactful pieces that elevate everyday living. From the refined elegance of the Cosette series and Claudine seats to the sculptural comfort of Jeanette and the classic playfulness of Gino, each product reflects a commitment to thoughtful materiality and timeless craftsmanship. These designs invite personalisation, blending effortlessly into diverse interiors while adding character and sophistication. Meridiani once again proves that it’s the little things that make a big difference.
