Weili is a Shanghai-based architect and artist who graduated from the National University of Singapore and Tsinghua University in Beijing. His works have been exhibited at the Singapore Fringe Festival as well as in China. He was introduced to performance art by veteran Singaporean artist Amanda Heng. In 2020, Weili was a contributor to ‘Beijing22’ – an initiative by iProjectSpace, and his essay was funded and published by Goethe Institute, China.
