Inkiostro Bianco's exclusive InkBath System project was part of their presentation at Cersaie 2023. With it, the Italian brand proposes to revolutionise any bathroom with ease, without demolition, by transforming it into a creative space. The InkBath System makes it possible to combine bathroom furnishing elements with wall decorations on the EQ.Dekor fibreglass wallpapers, with decorations applied directly onto sanitaryware.

The idea of spatial decoration is no longer merely on the walls. It beautifully infiltrates the washbasins, sanitaryware, and shower trays in several proposed models. Beyond this addition, the line is accompanied by a series of customisable bathroom cabinets with the option to have the same fibreglass material and graphics for the doors as the walls. A line of mirrors with backlighting, and a selection of colour-matched wall paints are also a part of this collection.

The project stems from the capsule collection Geometric Landscape, 6 wallpapers which feature on EQ.Dekor fibreglass. It is a material suitable for humid environments. This capsule collection has been created by designer Luca Papini, who has previously collaborated with Inkiostro Bianco for the Inediti Serie 01 collection, bringing his work experience and clever art direction to this new project, revolutionising the bathroom furnishing sector. The decorative aesthetic of the wallpapers seamlessly flows onto the sanitary ware designed by Ceramiche Galassia. With her expertise in ceramic firing and the mastery of Terzofoco, she is known for her excellence in the field of handcrafted decoration on ceramics. Lastly, the wall colours of the Paint Makers add the final touch with a specially coordinated colour palette based on the wallpapers of the capsule collection. It is, therefore, a work of many hands, one in which the technical skills of each contributor complemented the other to create a unique project that will revolutionise the bathroom design.

Choosing to transform one’s bathroom with the InkBath System would not require any demolition. All one needs to do is prepare the surface adequately to allow for the application of EQ.Dekor fibre glass on the wall, and then the accompanying sanitary ware and bathroom furniture. Inkiostro Bianco sees InkBath System as a significant step forward in the Italian brand's development as a project consultant, offering design solutions not just for single decorative elements, but for cohesive systems that pull the entire bathroom space together. Thus, the aim of this project is to reveal the potential of what the bathroom environment could be, by combining creativity and functionality, transforming it from a place of mundane experiences to an oasis of wellbeing.
