An international award-winning product designer, Paul Sandip, is also a cartoonist, and a trained electrical engineer. A consumer focused innovative design sense formulates his style and workmanship, and has led him to design over 300+ iconic products, of day to day use. Needs of a customer and latest technological advancements in design compel him to observe and develop innovative products. He has also been invited by Apollo Munich, Hewlett-Packard and Dell, amongst others, to share his design thinking process.
One such distinctive product, and the first of its kind in the world, is the Biometric Switch Panel. Pranit Parekar, CEO at Skroman Switches Pvt. Ltd, holds the patent for the technology, while the product is designed by Paul Sandip of Paul Studio, for Skroman Global.

This automation switch panel has a biometric access control, which activates with a fingerprint input, and can recognise up to 300 unique fingerprints. The panel allows specific customisation of who can access which set of electric and electronic appliances, and when, along with touch enabled sliders for the dimming of lights.
Its form is created to resemble an 8-way modular gang box, normally installed while the building is built. Along with being wall mountable, the panel is also available in a wireless type, which can be placed on a table top.
The Biometric Switch Panel comes in an ultra-luxury version as well, with a custom built-in metal frame, studded with 780 diamonds!
