After the success of its flagship store in Gurugram, Haryana, Essentia Home makes a striking debut in the Indian capital city with its second store in MG Road in the Delhi Design District. Founded by Hardesh and Monica Chawla, the creative forces behind Essentia Environments, the new store is an evolution of its 25-year journey in redefining luxury interiors. Spearheading this new chapter is Hridik Chawla, leading the Essentia Home Experience Center, ensuring a seamless, one-stop destination for designers, architects and connoisseurs of fine living.
Spanning 20,000 sqft across five levels, the flagship store is designed as a sensory, immersive experience that blends global refinement with Indigenous artistry. The space offers bespoke furniture, sculptural statement pieces, state-of-the-art kitchens where elegance meets function, handcrafted soft furnishings, rug designs, curated artworks, luxury vanities, lighting design and decorative accents. Every detail embodies Essentia Home’s design philosophy—The Fifth Dimension, which merges form, function and feeling to create interiors that evoke beauty, harmony and emotion.
Marking a major milestone, Essentia Home is now the exclusive North India partner for Rimadesio, the globally renowned Italian brand known for luxury wardrobes, sliding doors, architectural systems and furniture design. The new store’s ground floor is dedicated entirely to Rimadesio, making it the largest showcase of the brand’s products in India. "Rimadesio’s clean lines, muted tones and unparalleled craftsmanship align seamlessly with our design philosophy,” says Hardesh Chawla, founder of Essentia Home, in a statement. “As a global leader in high-end wardrobes and sliders, their bespoke offerings are essential for luxury design. We are thrilled to bring Rimadesio into the Essentia Home experience,” he adds.
Essentia Home was born from Hardesh and Monica Chawla’s vision of creating a brand that seamlessly integrates design and execution. They established a 1,50,000 sqft state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to bring this to life, combining cutting-edge technology with artisanal craftsmanship. “The idea was to greatly reduce, if not eliminate, the stress which was integral when dealing with multiple agencies and simultaneously to also bring to fruition the ideas exactly the way they were conceptualised by the design room. It’s so much easier to train and incentivise our in-house teams to deliver perfection than outside vendors,” Chawla shares in an official statement.
The store showcases over 1,000 meticulously crafted product designs—from bespoke furniture for all spaces to wall panels, kitchens and vanities; from soft furnishings to fragrances, artworks and sculptures—everything created by Essentia. Collaborations with Melogranoblu (lighting) and Ichendorf (glassware) complement their collections. Rajasthan marble creations with exclusive finishes invented in-house are the highlight of their stone marvels. The carpets are produced in Bhadohi.
Essentia Home’s portfolio includes exclusive collaborations with renowned international designers, including Sara Sbolgi & Marco Ferriani (Florence) who contribute accent chairs and sofa designs. From Switzerland-based Vincent Mazenauer’s sculptural dining tables crafted from Indian-origin stone to Beirut-based Ahmad Bazazo’s dining table, coffee table and lamp designs. Alongside other avant-garde furniture and home décor pieces by Luis Gimeno (Barcelona), Maison Toukkani (Switzerland), Tomaya Studio (Tel Aviv), Anna Ignatenko (Moscow) and Anda_ba (India and London).
Designed as an immersive journey, the store offers a real-time vision of curated interior design—sculptural living and dining spaces with tactile textures, bespoke bedrooms with automated beds and sumptuous linens, designer kitchens, blending innovation with elegance, and luxury outdoor spaces that feel like private retreats, and more. Final touches include Essentia’s signature fragrances and candles, creating a holistic sensory experience. “Essentia Home is about bringing high design, impeccable craftsmanship and superlative service closer to our customers. Our collections offer an unmatchable range and value—from furniture to soft furnishings, fragrances and décor—all crafted in India,” says Hridik Chawla.
With this second store, Essentia Home strengthens its position as a leader in contemporary luxury interiors. Whether you're an architect, designer or design enthusiast, the store offers a unique opportunity to explore and experience world-class craftsmanship and innovation—an opportunity to discover a new dimension of design.
