Kettal since its beginning in 1966 has had an international calling to design and innovation. The brand works with the most important names in the design industry who have collectively contributed to what is a well rounded, innovative, and unique collection of product designs. The hidden notion behind their collection is to design timeless furniture which is functional and expressive, representing a contemporary culture that caters to the rising trends of modern lifestyle. Kettal, with its latest launch, Grand Bitta, has brought a range of furniture designs, providing a comfortable space to the users, while interacting with nature. "My aim was to create dense braiding that would still let the air through, reminiscent of the braiding of the ropes used to moor boats (hence the name Bitta, which means 'mooring' in Italian), which makes the pieces look lightweight but, at the same time, they look just like cosy nests in natural colours to sit back and relax in," said Italian designer Rodolfo Dordoni on his latest sofa design collection.
Grand Bitta is a furniture collection which is also suitable for outdoor spaces, providing life to the gardens and terraces. The collection by the contemporary designer features a combination of aluminium frames with braided polyester cords, teak, and stone table tops. Kettal with its outdoor furniture rejuvenates exterior spaces, making them a part of the house. The foundational process of the brand is to communicate with everything, everyone in the surroundings, and to respond by analysing the observations. They work with the goal of respecting the environment, keeping scientific and technological research at the forefront of their production; using ecological and recyclable furniture paints, as well as Perhutani certified protected wood in production, embracing sustainability.
Kettal through its sustainable design launches in the industry, provides products which, while being responsive to contemporary changes of the spaces around us, are also sensitive to environmental and climate changes, so that zero harm to nature can be ensured .
