Samar Jodha

Samar Jodha is a transdisciplinary artist and TED speaker whose 35-year practice examines who builds, who is counted and who is left out of the record. His projects include History in the Making, documenting the workers who built Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, and Bhopal: A Silent Picture, which names those who lost their lives in the gas tragedy. His work has been shown across three continents, including at the 55th Venice Biennale. Through Red Balloon Global, he works with young people on sustainability, capacity building and self-representation.
